The creation of credits' newest rival.

When Qualified Financial came to Smeltzer Global, it was known as its registered mark, Quantified Financial Plan, or QFP, the world's next credit alternative and award winning financial scoring method.

Our team was tasked with a logo and a website.

After working with our Principal on the proposed deliverables, however, the Client agreed to a larger scope which included a personality test on the brand itself, giving it a chance to speak on its own behalf.

Many times, founders can't see the potential in their products and QFP was no exception. After careful examination of the product, it was determined that QFP could make a much larger impact, and profit, than originally thought.

To access this potential, QFP had to evolve into a company that would be able to offer multiple financial services later, so Quantified Financial Plan was re-designated as a service offering and Qualified Financial became the company's name.

The design for QFPs' logo was made with this knowledge in mind and allows Qualified Financial to utilize the same logo for both its name and product since the "P" for "Plan" was still incorporated into the design.

Sleek, sexy yet established with a rush of Old School Money became the inspiration for the QF Logo and with financial blues hinting at it's purpose, the company had it's first impression.

Our team began to curate this impression with a carefully researched brand biography, creating an autonomous identity, complete with brand characteristics, marketing standards and internal procedure protocol.

Brand Structure

With a firm grip on corporate identity and how to execute strategies for market procurement, Qualified Financial needed a way to showcase the existing need in the market. Smeltzers' team began to format its research conducted and acquired on behalf of Qualified Financial, generating pitch decks and various resource materials. Our team sought to do this in manner which both explained the gaps naturally generated by the current credit system to potential affiliates but also in a way which would appeal to investors.

Smeltzer worked with Qualified Financial to generate a budget for both development and launch, which far exceeded the initially established budget upon retention. Our firm believed that with increased scope and the added monetization's provided to our Client that the strategic and practical adjustments would require a larger investment on the front end of the program than originally thought.

Therefore, we developed and ran an in-person, full investment round resulting in the project being 160% funded by friends and family level investors.

“I first would like to say how absolutely thorough and precise Smeltzer is in his methods. Our entire experience with Smeltzer has been easy, enjoyable, and always productive. As for the archetype session specifically…I was able to find its reasoning and purpose quickly. In my line of work, I understand that the ability to develop likeability with people lies in the ability to understand them first. This art is lost in most conversations and relationships now days both personally and professionally. Smeltzer understands this very important principle that to really help a client, one must first truly understand and grasp what makes them tick. This process must not be rushed and requires a level of sacrifice, vulnerability, and transparency. In life and in business, the same is true. To me, therefore the archetype session is not only important, but arguable essential in your business one day reaching its highest potential!”

~Brian Souder, CEO Qualified Financial

With three decks, a 20 page business plan and investment contracts completed, it was time for a landing page to harness Qualified Financials' organic momentum while the software's coding was underway.

Qualified Financial was originally hosted on the Clients' already obtained url: "Qfpscore.com"

Smeltzers' team negotiated a transfer of the optimized domain name in exchange for discounted access to the white-labelled offering of #QFP for a three year period.

As a result, Qualified Financial acquired the coveted domain name at zero up-front cost while procuring usage contracts for over three years.

Our team reached out to the owner of a more dominant domain:

Qualifiedfinancial.com in order to negotiate it's sale and acquisition for our Client.

Smeltzer then negotiated a profit-sharing contract with the previous domain owner to provide 1,500 insurance agents across the country access to the same, white-labelled version for a leasing fee.

Finally, Smeltzer began leveraging the traction garnered by the transfer agreements and initiated social media management on behalf of the Client to harness future leads and digital real estate.

A carefully curated series of social media strategies have since been developed and staged for deployment on all social media platforms. With cohesive color palettes, standardized fonts, approved colors and consistent messaging, Qualified Financial stands ready to expand to the width of it's new market as soon as it's launched.

Proactive interactions, deliberate following and occupying specific #hashtags are all strategies to increase our Clients' following and online influence.
